DuckDuckGo block covered in Malayalam media.

Settings -> Network and Internet -> Advanced -> Private DNS എന്നതിൽ അവസാനത്തേതു് തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു് കൊടുത്താൽ മതി.

@praveen yes indeed. i seemed to find out just about then on someone mentioning the idea...i was just hesitant to not route the dns lookups through my pi. but thankfully there are many hosted with DoH.

Some of the servers listed here have DoH as well. This a community driver project.

@praveen i have read about opennic and i think i used it early on in my pi, but i think just out of the blue some names just didn't have any records which were there with other providers...maybe i will try them again, but basically i do try out services of those who are part of etc. some services say, they have DoH support but not mention the https url, so I dunno where to get that from. :) thanks for the tip

Yeah I could not get any open nic listed ones working. I think Android has DoT not DoH. I got quad9 working as well. So only cloudflare and quad9 are options. Has anyone in got working with Android Private DNS option?

@praveen i don't remember about trying DoH on phone...had used some dnsfilter app that let me use both DoT and DoH in android long back before my pi dns. you have which have DoH and DoT wherein they have not mentioned, but I suppose at least the DoT would be ip:853 iirc

@praveen did you find a way to filter by DoT or DoH support, it also has dnscrypt...i never tried it but now the blocking is making it interesting. i think i will keep one browser perhaps without a private dns...just to see if and when the blocks are lifted...boring! :P

On the left side there are flags which indicates supported features. is the only one I found so far.

@praveen the locks are funny... yeah there are a few more. some with both DoH/T i filtered down to Ok servers... saw only one India entry...and it is as open as our blocking overlords like it to be.
